Master Je's philosophy
Master Je is a 6th-degree black belt, and has been practicing Tae Kwon Do for over 30 years. He is a graduate of the Korea National Sports University where he studied Tae Kwon Do (BA). He performed as part of the University's Demonstration Team, the Korean National Demonstration Team, and the Kukkiwon Demonstration Team.
Master Je's philosophy is that Tae Kwon Do is about self-improvement as well as self-defense. This is evident in his teaching methods. Instructors focus on teaching “life skills” just as much as physical techniques.
He is committed to teaching the highest quality martial arts in an atmosphere of positive energy and respect.
His goal is to positively affect the lives of as many people as possible through the martial art of Tae Kwon Do. Tae Kwon Do is known to help students of all ages. Our training includes skills valuable in daily life, such as: cooperation, respect, self-control, focus, and confidence.
We help students learn valuable life skills they will use for the rest of their lives. This is achieved by creating a positive, hard-working environment and by having instructors who serve as role models for younger students and peers. In doing all of this, we contribute to a safe and peaceful community as well.
